Grant County Combined Appeal
One hundred percent of the funds raised for the Grant County Combined Appeal stays in our community area. Some of the agencies funded through the Grant County Combined Appeal have no other source of funding, they count entirely on the generosity of caring people like you and me!
The fund was expanded to cover many social areas of the community; youth activities, at risk children and families, those challenged by disease or disability, and special community projects. Community nonprofit agencies are encouraged to apply for a grant from the Grant County Combined Appeal.
2021 Grant County Combined Appeal Recipient Mission Statements
Grant County ARC - An organization for handicapped committed to securing opportunities to choose and realize their goals of where and how to live, learn, work, and play. The ARC provides leadership in the field of special services to attain goals and support for families, friends, and community.
Grant County Heart & Diabetes Fund - Identify and assist low income Grant County residents with heart and diabetes related medical bills & prescriptions. Also for the promotion of research regarding heart and diabetes disease.
Imagination Library - Serving the children of the world, starting with Grant County, by providing a book a month for the first 5 years of each child's life, thereby encouraging a love of reading and life-long learning.
Milbank Area Lions Swim Team (MALST) - To support the sport of swimming and provide individuals the opportunity to achieve health, physical fitness, and team and individual skills.
Milbank Boy Scout Troop 45 - To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by installing in them the values of the scout oath and law.
Grant County Child Protection Team - To protect and enhance the well being of all children in Grant County.
Unity Health & Fitness Charitable Membership - The Unity Square staff will do all we can to provide programs for cultural, health, and recreational enhancement while maintaining an attractive, functional facility. We will furnish a gathering place that provides opportunity and programming needs for all people. In the interest of our clientele, we will strive to create the best customer service that leaves a feeling of importance and appreciation for all users of Unity Square. We will provide these services regardless of the ability to pay.
NEGL Red Cross - A humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare, and respond to emergencies. It does this through services that are consistent with the congressional charter of the American Red Cross.
Milbank Ball Diamond Association - To create a summer ball opportunity for all ages in the Milbank area.

Milbank Community Transit - Will provide the most reliable, safe, efficient, and affordable transportation services possible while preserving the dignity and self respect of our riders.
ICAP 60s Plus Dining Program - Empowers people to live, not just survive.
Milbank High School Clay Target Team - Is part of the USA High School Clay Target League that provides safe shooting sports as an extracurricular co-ed and adaptive activity to high schools for students in grades six through twelve who have earned league approved firearm safety certification.
Milbank Area Community Tennis Assoc. (MATCA) - To promote and develop the growth of tennis to Milbank and surrounding communities in Grant County.
Big Stone City School OST Program - OST is a summer and after-school childcare program specifically designed to provide exceptional care through a safe, secure, educationally structured environment.
Grant County Girl Scouts - Girl scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
Building Our Families - Is a local group who advocate for & promote the Foster Dare community through wrap around support & education of families to meet their physical, emotional, mental & spiritual needs.
